Cheerful Vera (23) struggles to reinvent her life after ending up in a wheelchair unexpectedly. Meeting lifelong wheelchair user Xander (22), their growing friendship offers new perspectives. Vera faces a pivotal dilemma: should she embrace her disability or strive to become as "normal" as possible?

The Pupil 2025

Daan (12) is gradually groomed by his coach Ries (35) at his soccer club, and repeated sexual abuse follows. The sense of necessity Daan feels to keep it a secret causes his behavior to change, and he increasingly withdraws. When the truth comes to light, Daan is overwhelmed by shame and faces the uncomfortable and sometimes cruel reactions from those around him. Wandering the American West with his daughter, a Dutch father slowly loses his grip on reality. 'Pacifica.' is a film about loss, denial and America's complicated relationship with firearms.
