When his mother dies, eight-year-old Nino no longer goes to school, he no longer bathes and he eats crisps for breakfast. At first it seems great fun, but Nino soon starts missing the attention and affection of his father and his brother. When Nino discovers he can talk to animals, he sets matters with his rabbit Bobby to reunite the family.
