Two divorced sixty-somethings see each other for the first time after many years when their 40-year-old son dies suddenly. In the months that follow, they seek comfort from each other and their old love flares up again. They enjoy an innocent affair, which they try to keep secret from their families. However, this turns out to be more complicated than imagined. So is pushing away unprocessed problems from the past. Before they know it, they, like their families, become entangled in the consequences of this great love.
